Hi Salvatore,

I read an earlier posting of yours where you stated your creatinine was creeping up to 280. If it's any comfort, mine was 3x that before dialysis, and while on dialysis for six years, was around the  950-1000 mark.

I have just started to reconnect after a short break from doing so.  I am at 3 & 12/+  years since my transplant, and doing very well.  Creatinine at 82, only talk to transplant once every six months at my biennial appointment.

I also hate sunscreen.  However, as we need to use it, Neutragena has a stick, SPF 50, which is easy to use, and lightweight on the skin.  And because it looks like a deodorant stick, you can carry it in your carry- on baggage, and not put it in that little Baggie.

Columbia clothing company, and Kuhl's both have long sleeve shirts that are UFP 50.  I have one of each and wore them this past summer and they did the trick.

Note to Salvadore  I had dry, itchy skin and legs muscle cramping  prior to my transplant and dialysis.  It was caused by too high of phosphorus  levels in by blood.  I'm on prednisone now which isn't causing it.

A note to Salvatore...33yrs! That's what I call inspiration. I just had a transplant this year, and that's the kind of thing I like to read.
