Peterborough's pretty good as small cities go. No shortage of live music & theatre, loaded with small restaurants, but also lots more traffic these days, but still nothing compared to T.O. Do you have any 'secret' locations in Nova Scotia that should be seen? We've traveled throughout the province, but there's only so much you can see in a week. (each time) We do like to keep to the 'back roads' as much as possible. I was to go in for transplant today but it was cancelled..hopefully rescheduled in a couple weeks. By the way, my creatinine is routinely in the 850-950 range, so you have a long way to go!
