Good to hear from you Denise. Sorry to hear about your fistula, you sound like me always something happening. I like the one in the upper arm you can cover it and no one sees it. I am still waiting for a phone call to remove my kidney but I saw the nephrologist from the transplant team and they are moving forward with my tests to get on the transplant list. I already have a ultra sound for next week and then two weeks tests for TB and all that is left is chest, heart and blood. Worried about the blood because I have had two blood transfusion and it can change things but we will see. Enjoy your training and get home soon and keep well

Hi Denise.  After 23 years of dealing with the steady decline of FSGS I finally had a catheter put in on Sept. 20th to start Peritoneal Dialysis.  Do you know anyone else on this type?  I am wondering if anyone else is dealing with the final drain pain.  Thanks, if you can help.

Hi Denise nice to meet you. I have a fistula in my upper arm with button holes. My sister has the catather but she doesn't do home dialysis they want to put a fistula in but she is scared to death of needles, she had a couple of bad experiences cancer and stem cell transplant, she still goes to in center twice a week. I love the button holes you go in the same h*** everytime its like a ear ring h***. They say you get a better cleaning with a fistula then a Catather I do my 5 days a week 4 hours a day, I started out 6 days a week but my Numbers are really good so my doctor let me cut back 2 months after I started. If you have any other question be glad to help if I can Denise.
