I think the best dialysis is home hemo where you do your diaysis at home during the night. You will feel good and live longer. I recommend getting on the transplant list as well. They are also developing a bioartificial kidney which is scheduled for market in 2020. My first transplant in 1974 lasted 22 years and the second 8 years. Don't worry, you will be just fine.

I lost my kidney function in 1972, have had 2 transplants and waiting for number 3. Been on dialysis for 12 years and doing ok. Add your name to the transplant list and use dialysis to keep you going until you get a kidney. Nothing to be scared about you have lots of time left to enjoy life if you accept your situation and remain positive.
