That is really good to hear. I saw that bio artificial kidney on the news. I am hoping for home hemo. My husband travels a lot so i think that it would be my best option. Especially with the crapy weather conditions we get here. I wouldn’t have to worry about getting out for dialysis.
Thanks Chris. Sound like you have had a bit of a long haul. I had a wonderful specialist in Barrie Ont. they are now trying to set something in Ottawa. Everybody is in a bit of a scurry. I guess I will see what the new specialist says. I know there different type of dialysis.hopefully there is one that will allow long walks with my pups and hopefully travel to visit my daughters. I am blessed both of my daughters are wonderful nurses..how long did your transplants last?i am curious, what were some of your in stage 4?
Thanks Chris. Looks like I could be on dyalasis with in the year and I am really scared. I had full renal failure 11 years ago and with 2 rounds of dialysis they managed to get me some kidney function. The last 11 years were a miracle of sorts. It’s a long story. I am reaching out to meet people living with CKD. Family means well, but do not truly understand. Thank you for replying to my comment.
